Nova Scotia Golden Retriever Rescue

ADOPTION PROCESS

Adoption costs:

Puppies up to 6 months:$150.00
All dogs 6 months and older: $250.00
Registered Goldens:$250.00
The first step in our adoption process is to obtain a NSGRR adoption application, which must be completed in full. It includes important questions that NSGRR uses to match a dog to your lifestyle and family routine. Once your completed application has been received by NSGRR, a NSGRR volunteer will call you to review your adoption needs in detail. Some applicants are approved for a home visit at this point, others are denied. If your application review is approved, you will   be contacted by a NSGRR volunteer who will arrange for your home visit. If your application is selected for a particular dog, you will be given the opportunity to meet the dog.

Please be advised that there is a waiting period to adopt that can vary widely depending on the needs of your family and those of our dogs.   That's because NSGRR works to make the right match of dog and family; to find a Golden that fits your lifestyle, and that will be a cherished family member and companion for life. Keep in mind that preferences such as age and gender can also lengthen the wait time. NSGRR reserves the right to deny an application.
